When people refer to beaches they normally refer to the sandy banks of salt water bodies. Swimming in sea water is good and easier but fresh water has a charm of its own, with less eye and nose irritaion. So, how about spending time with your dog at a fresh water beach. Fresh water may be less bouyant but more people prefer to swim in fresh water than they do in salt water and who knows even your dog might be tempted to stay in fresh water for long).

swim?
